I really like this wiki. How can I join?

In order to join a wiki, you must request membership from the wiki organizer. Just click Join locate at the top of the wiki. If you are not already logged in, you will be prompted to enter you username and password.

If you can't find a Join link at the top, then the wiki is not set up to allow membership requests. The only way to join such wikis, is by receiving an invitation from the wiki's organizer.

If you don’t yet have a Wikispaces account, you can create one at http://www.wikispaces.com/user/join.

Why is my membership request still pending?

Your join request must be approved by the wiki organizer. If you know who that is, try contacting them directly to remind them that you are still awaiting their approval.

I used to be a member of this wiki and now I’m not. What happened?

It is possible that your membership has been removed by mistake. Use the Join link in the upper right corner to send a new membership request.

If you know the wiki organizer, you can also contact them directly for more information.

I’ve joined a wiki. What happens now?

As a wiki member, you will be able to collaborate on work and pages within that wiki. Our video tours and help wiki can tell you more about how wikis work.

I invited someone to my wiki, but they don’t show up on the list. Why is that?

If the user was invited by email address, they will be listed in your Pending Email Invitations list until they have accepted the invitation. This list is only visible to wiki organizers.

There is sometimes a conflict with adding a user by username when they have already been invited to the wiki through their email address. They might not appear on your member list, but as long as they have an active Wikispaces account with a confirmed email address, they will be added as a member when they visit the wiki. We are aware of this issue and will resolve it soon.
